02 / How I work
A learning design approach that connects purpose, practice and support for applying new skills.
Understand
Identify what people need to do, what gets in their way and what successful performance would look like. Connect learner needs with the organisation’s goals before choosing content or a format.
Design
Use outcomes to shape the program structure, learning sequence and delivery approach. Co-design with subject-matter experts and stakeholders so each part of the experience supports a useful next step.
Develop
Translate expertise into activities, scenarios, participant resources and example learning materials. Make practice and evidence of learning part of the experience.
Enable
Consider what learners and facilitators need to use the program. Plan clear guidance, delivery support and ways to connect learning with everyday work and new ways of working.
Review
Define how learning will be assessed and how learner and facilitator feedback can inform design improvements. Plan assessment criteria and evaluation measures alongside the learning experience.
03 / About
Understand people.
Design useful learning.
Build capability.
I’m Arash “Ari” Rahmati, a Sydney-based learning experience and program designer. I bring together human-centred design, classroom teaching and facilitation to make learning clear, practical and relevant to the people using it.
My career spans more than a decade across UX, strategic design, service improvement and stakeholder collaboration in Australia and Asia. That background informs how I understand learner needs, structure complex material and work with subject-matter experts.
My experience includes three years of full-time classroom teaching in Asia. Through Expertyzer, I design learning programs that translate specialist expertise into purposeful participant experiences.
04 / Let’s connect
I’m interested in learning and development roles and collaborations involving practical program design, facilitation and capability building.
